The DMCA rule

This Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy applies to the website and any of its associated goods and services. It explains how the website operator handles copyright infringement notifications and how you can make a copyright infringement complaint.
The protection of intellectual property is vital to us, and we expect our users and their authorised representatives to do the same. The text of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) of 1998 can be found on the website of the United States Copyright Office. It is our intention to respond expeditiously to notifications of suspected copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA.

Considerations prior to filing a copyright complaint

Consider if the use constitutes fair use before filing a copyright complaint with us. Fair use states that small passages of copyrighted material may be used verbatim for purposes such as criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research under certain conditions, without permission from or payment to the copyright owner.
Please keep in mind that if you are uncertain as to whether the content you are reporting is infringing, you should consult an attorney before sending us a notice.
The DMCA demands that your personal information be included in the notification of copyright infringement. You may choose to employ an agent to report infringing content on your behalf if you are concerned about the confidentiality of your personal information.

Warnings of infractions

If you are a copyright owner or an agent of a copyright owner and believe that any content accessible through our Services infringes on your copyrights, you may file a written notice of copyright infringement using the contact information provided below in accordance with the DMCA. All such Notifications must comply with DMCA regulations. You may utilise a DMCA takedown notice generator or other such services to avoid making mistakes and ensure compliance with your Notification.
Please be aware that if you misrepresent content on our website that violates your copyright, you may be held liable for damages (including costs and attorney’s fees). We urge that you consult an attorney before proceeding with this matter.

  • The filing of a DMCA claim commences a predetermined legal process. Your complaint will be investigated to confirm its accuracy, originality, and thoroughness. As part of our response, we may remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing content if your complaint fits these requirements.
  • If, in response to a Notice of alleged infringement, we remove or restrict access to content or cancel an account, we will make a good faith effort to notify the affected user.
  • In spite of anything to the contrary in this Policy, the Operator reserves the right to take no action in response to a DMCA copyright infringement notice if it fails to meet all of the DMCA’s requirements for such notifications.
  • The approach specified in this Policy does not restrict us from pursuing any other remedies available to us to address such violations.
